This paper investigates the role of affective and cognitive networks on growth orientation of survival-focused micro-entrepreneurs in Kenya. It adopts actor network and planned behavior theoretical approach. Narrative in-depth interviews were conducted with twenty micro-entrepreneurs; they were aged between seventeen to thirty years and all originated from humble backgrounds.
